Ashlee Hoos, Advisor
A former journalist herself, Mrs. Hoos decided to create The Soaring Eagle Spotlight with the guidance of FHS principal Mr. Mark Sherbondy to teach students about the world of journalism and marketing. Under her advisement, the Spotlight published through email in the 2023-24 school year and has grown for the 2024-25 school year to include a website as well as weekly emailed publications. Hoos is married to her high school sweetheart, is a mother of two, holds a Bachelor's Degree from IPFW in English Literature, and is attending the University of Southern Indiana for a Master's Degree in Literature and Linguistics. Before becoming a teacher and club advisor, Hoos worked at The Herald Republican newspaper for KPC Media Group as a reporter and lifestyle editor.
