The Fremont High School football team currently boasts a roster of 10 senior players and one senior manager as part of its ranks. These students are as follows:
Mathieu Teegardin
Mathieu Teegardin is among our few football seniors for this 2024 to 2025 season; he plays offensive and defensive line. He is the son of Don and Lisa Teegardin. Mathieu has been playing football ever since he was in the second grade. Mathieu states that the reason he started playing the game was because he loved the sport of football overall and he enjoyed the companionship he gained through the sport with his brothers. Mathieu explained that his favorite part of football is the real feeling of being able to bleed, sweat and compete with his fellow teammates and see all their hard work pay off on the field. Mathieu sadly does not plan on continuing his football career due to the plan on not attending college after he graduates. Mathieu states that his plans after high school are to work around the country in different national parks in hopes to see as much as the world has to offer.
Zandier Rowe
Zandier Rowe is among our few football seniors for this 2024 to 2025 season; He plays running back and defensive line. He is the son of Chad Rowe and Kara Rowe. Zandier has played football since the second grade. Zandier states the reason he got into playing the game football is because he found the game interesting and entertaining. Zandier adds that his favorite part of playing football during the fall season is taking pride in hitting people and showing them just what team they have just started playing. Zandier does not plan on continuing his football career after high school unless he decides to change his pathway and go to college. But at this moment in time Zandier is set in stone on starting his pathway of life in his line of work and building off of his career that way.
Abram Howe
Abram Howe is among our few football seniors for this 2024 to 2025 season; He plays middle linebacker and fullback; He is the son of Arek Howe and Janelle Howe. Abram has been playing football for a year now. Abram explains that the reason he got into playing football is because he finds it entertaining and enjoyable. Abram stated that the reason he started playing football was because he saw it as an outlet for his emotions and saw hitting people on the field the best way to relieve his emotions. Abram sadly does not plan on continuing his football career after highschool and is not fully sure what his plans are for after graduation.
Jonah Pentecost
Jonah Pentecost is one among our few football seniors for this 2024 to 2025 football season; He plays offensive and defensive line. He is the son to his father Eric Pentecost and his mother Laura Pentecost. Johan has been playing football for nine years. Pretty much going back to the first grade besides his stop in seventh and eighth grade due to homeschooling policy. Johan states that he started football because his family is very sports oriented so naturally; as a child he looked forward to sports. Johan was very clear that what pushed him most within the love for this sport is his older brother, his father and all of his coaches high praise of him. And within that he found the love for football and as he states “I kinda just fell into it and never looked back.” Johan states that his favorite parts of football are the energy, physicality, the adrenaline rush, and the challenges. Being able to push himself during the week with his fellow teammates. And setting goals in hopes to see all of his and his teammates’ hard work pay off in the long run. He loves to see the progress of not only himself as a player but the growth the team has made as a whole durning games. He enjoys how immensely gratifying it is. He highlighted that this feeling is even better when this progress is shown off to our community. He loves to involve them in every one of our victories. Johan is currently in the recruiting process for colleges and as he states that this senior year will be the year that will make or break whether or not he has what it takes to continue on to college football. But as Johan states very briefly but very confidently “So Lord willing and myself willing, yes I would love to keep playing football.” Johan plans on attending a university at this point in time is pretty set on Taylor University and plans to major in film, and media arts department. He hopes to hopefully pursue a career path in the realm of sports media or a content creator for social media for an entity such as the Indianapolis Colts or another sports organization along those lines.
Maddison Reasoner
Maddison Reasoner is among our few seniors for this 2024 and 2025 football season. Although Maddison is not on the field with bulky pads and cleats she is a large part of the team nonetheless. Maddison is the daughter of her father Brad Reasoner and her mother Sherry Albright. Maddison has been football managing since her freshman year and she states that what drove her most to start football management was that overall she enjoyed the sport football very much and wanted to try something new and broaden her horizon as a freshmen looking forward to her upcoming years in highschool. Now that she is a senior she is happy to be the guiding light to the upcoming underclassmen that will soon take her spot on the sidelines on Friday Nights and she couldn’t be more excited. Maddison states that her favorite part of football management is the fact that she gets to see how much raw effort is put in by the team that most people just wouldn’t see. She loves to see the hard work pay off and is proud of how hard the guys work to succeed on the field. Maddison is in between two universities at the moment both of which she states have sparked her interest the most. The two schools are The University of Michigan and also Western Michigan. Maddison sadly does not plan on football managing throughout her college career but she does plan on majoring in Elementary Education in hopes to one day inspire young children the way her teachers had inspired her.
Jackson Foster
Jackson Foster is among the few football seniors for this 2024 to 2025 football season; He plays Offensive tackle and defensive line. Jackson is the son of Tyler and Sarah Foster. Jackson has been playing football for 8 years now and he states that the reason he started playing the intense sport was because he found it a way to take his aggression out in a healthy way. Jackson stated that he is still up in the air about possibly carrying on his football career after high school. His plans after high school consist of carrying on his life and joining the workforce as a stepping stone for his bright future.
Nevin Bloom
Nevin Bloom is among our few football seniors for this 2024 to 2025 football season; he plays offensive and defensive line. He is the son of Travis and Lisa Bloom. Nevin has been playing the game football for nine years now, and he explained that the reason he got into such a passionate sport was because his father saw potential in him and pushed him to try the fulfilling sport. Nevin explained as among his other senior teammates that his favorite part of football is being able to take frustration and pent up anger out on the field on friday nights. Nevin was happy to share that he will be continuing his football career as he navigates the new chapter of college. He states that when he reaches college the major he plans on majoring in is sports science.
Brady Verdin
Brady Verdin is among our few football seniors for this 2024 to 2025 football season; he plays left tackle and defensive nose. He is the son of Brent and Corey Verdin. Brady has been playing the intense game of football since he was in elementary school. He states that the reason he started playing football was because he wanted to spend more time with friends and make good memories on and off of the field. Brady explained that his all time favorite part of the game of football is the fulfillment that comes with being successful with his teammates. Unfortunately, Brady does not plan on continuing his football career after high school. Brady states that after high school his plans are to become a welder in the service industry.
Cayden Hufnagle
Cayden Hufnagle is among our few football seniors for this 2024 to 2025 season; he plays wide receiver, and is the son of Eric and Lisa Hufnagle. Cayden has been playing football since the first grade. He states that the reason he started playing the passionate sport of football was because his father was a leading light to other young men that he coached within the sport. Cayden explained that his favorite part of football is game days. He enjoys the rush and the sense of accomplishment while he is on the field with his fellow teammates. He takes much pride in this. Cayden sadly does not plan on continuing his football career after graduation but Cayden does plan on taking the next step to his future by going to college and majoring in business management. Or possibly become a plumber.
Connor Sharrow
Connor Sharrow is among our few football seniors for this 2024 to 2025 football season; he plays Center, D tackle and Long Snapper. He is the son of Amy and Curtis Sharrow. Connor has been playing football since middle school. He explains that the reason he decided to start playing football was because he saw football as a way to be closer to his friends and build a stronger relationship with them in the form of a family. Connor stated that his favorite part of the football season is the food that comes along with it. Whether that be the generously provided Thursday meals that the families put together or all the snacks that are brought in from the parents. Connor sadly does not plan on continuing his football career after graduation. Connor plans on taking steps forward to his bright future and joining the workforce after graduation.
Camilo Vega
Camilo Vega is among our few football seniors for this 2024 to 2025 football season; he plays left tackle and defensive nose. He is the son to Christian Vega. Camilo has been playing football since the start of his highschool journey. He explained that the reason he started playing football was because he got to spend more time with his close friends and make more memories that would stick with him for a lifetime. Camilo stated that his favorite part of football is getting to have that fulfilling feeling of being successful with his fellow teammates on and off of the field. After graduation Camilo plans to take the next step forward to his bright future by going to the Navy or the Air Force.
