The Soaring Eagle Spotlight is published by the Fremont High School Journalism and Marketing Club. The club was created during the 2023-24 school year by advisor Ashlee Hoos and FHS Principal Mark Sherbondy. The vision was, and remains, to publicize all of the amazing things going on in and around Fremont Community Schools that may otherwise go unnoticed.

Student reporters receive no class credit for working on this publication, as it is an extracurricular and not an academic course. However, they remain dedicated to the hard work it takes to make a weekly newspaper and maintain a website.
