Friday, Sept. 27 was homecoming for the Fremont Eagles. Of the three seniors in the running for Homecoming Queen, Milania Miller was voted the winner and was crowned during halftime of the football game against Churubusco.
The other queen candidates were Brayleigh Moss and Karsen Rhodes.
Each candidate was escorted by a classmate and was afforded the opportunity to ride through the parade in a convertible.
Each of the other three high school grade levels also had homecoming court representatives, escorted by a classmate. They rode in the parade, also, and were announced during the game as their class representative.
The freshman representative was Lucy Heller. Sophomore’s voted to have Amelia Morrissette as their representative, and the junior class representative was Sydney Burkholder.
The parade, an annual tradition through downtown Fremont, also featured a number of Fremont athletes from elementary through high school, class themed floats, and other FCS organizations.
The 2023 queen, FHS Graduate Paige Baker, was also present for the parade.
